Sundstrand C5U Universal Bed-Type Rigid Mill
This Sundstrand C5U Rigid Mill , equipped with All-Angle Head, was rebuilt in 2004 and was updated with Yaskawa F7 variable speed spindle drive and Baldor axis drives. Electronics was completely rewired. Machine features a 3-axis Digital Readout.
The large 20’ long table travels on wide box ways in X-axis, while the column performs the Y and Z movements. The ram type 20 hp All-Angle-Head is adjustable on two planes. The machine also features a 50 hp horizontal geared spindle.

1. As a manual machine, completely cleaned, newly painted and in fully functional condition without any further warranties.

2. Retrofitted with a 3-axis PC based Model NCT-104 control with 15” color LCD monitor, with Fanuc compatible G-code and conversational programming. Existing lead screws will be replaced with ball screws, and the whole machine will be completely reworked and recertified.
