| The DS450/130C machining
center features two machining systems: Turning head with two tool pockets mounted on a U-axis slide, suited for small to large diameter turning operations, using the same tool. High-speed spindle quill located underneath the turning head, which is used to perform high-speed drilling, tapping and other types of jobs. The radial-movement turning head allows to perform virtually any type of turning jobs – spherical or tapered turning, as well as boring and threading, making use of standard tools. The tool works at its best during the turning operations, that is, when it is controlled by the constant-cut machining program. This ruggedly constructed machine features an excellent chip disposal system. All moving parts of the head are made from alloy steel, and an oil circuit ensures proper lubrication. The base frame is made of electro-welded, stabilized steel. The head, column and saddle are made of Meehanite cast iron. All axes slide on cross-roller guide shoes and are driven by ball screws with pre-loaded, double lead screw and brushless motors. |

center features two machining systems: Turning head with two tool pockets mounted on a U-axis slide, suited for small to large diameter turning operations, using the same tool. High-speed spindle quill located underneath the turning head, which is used to perform high-speed drilling, tapping and other types of jobs. This ruggedly constructed machine is designed to include an excellent chip disposal system and a totally sealed onboard-mounted enclosure, insuring no release of fluid / chips. All mechanical moving parts of the diam. 200 turning heads are made of treated steel and are lubricated through an exclusive oil circuit. The base frame is made of electro- welded, stabilized steel. The head is made of Meehanite cast iron. All axes slide on cross-roller guide shoes and are driven by ball screws with pre-loaded, double lead screw and brushless motors. The mechanical parts of the turning head are of sturdy construction, so as to allow heavy removal with utmost reliability. All movements are controlled by the machine CNC. The tool works at its best during the facing operations, when the constant-cut program is activated. The high speed spindle quill protrudes from underneath the turning head only when the latter is clamped. The rotary, 360.000 stepless indexing table is equipped with ways and devices designed to accommodate the tool-holder pallets. |

The DS900/300C machining
center features two machining systems: 1) Turning head with two tool-holder posts on mobile carriage, so as to perform small as well as large diameter turning operations with the same tool; 2) Fast spindle fitted underneath the turning head, suited for drilling, tapping and other operations at high revolution rates. This ruggedly constructed machine is designed to include an excellent chip disposal system and a totally sealed onboard-mounted enclosure, insuring no release of fluid / chips. All mechanical moving parts of the machine head are made of treated steel and are lubricated by an exclusive oil circuit. The base frame is made of electro-welded, stabilized steel. The head is made of Meehanite cast iron. All axes slide on cross-roller guide shoes and are actuated by ball screws with pre-loaded, double lead screw and Brushless motors. The mechanical organs of the turning head are of sturdy construction, so as to guarantee heavy removal with utmost reliability. The machine CNC governs all movements. During the facing operation, the tool works at its best, being controlled by a constant-cut machining program. The fast spindle protrudes from underneath the turning head only when the latter is clamped. The rotary, 360.000 stepless indexing table is equipped with guideways and devices designed to accommodate the tool-holder pallets. The DS900/300C machining centre is equipped with a tool-changer unit located vertically on the column side, fitted with a 2-gripper tool-changer manipulator. 40 tool magazine, optionally 80 Tool and tool-holder max. length 80 mm Maximum diam. of tools set side by side: 170 Turning tool diam. 900mm, travel 290 mm Mobile carriage with 2 seats, distance between centres 180 mm RPM (constant power) from 62.5 to 150 Max. torque 5500 NM Spindle bearing diameter 330 mm Minimum distance between centre of turning head and pallet 475 Max. distance between turning head axis and pallet 1945 mm The spindle headstock unit consists of two stations: 1st station: Turning disc, diameter 900 mm travel 300 mm.Mobile carriage with 2 tool-holder seats, distance between centres 290 mm.
