The FERMAT WRFT Horizontal Boring Mills are the most versatil HBMs in today’s marketplace. The machine features a 17” quare RAM design housing the live quill. The live spindle also provides a C-axis motion, to utilize turning tools and to enable thread milling. The same machine model is also available with 5.9” and 6.3” spindles. Their heavy duty construction, high-tech design and outstanding power makes them the best choice for heavy duty oil field applications.

Linear ways with heavy duty roller bearings provide high accuracy and stick slip free motion on all axes:

The rotary movement of the table is provided by two pinions. Standard equipment is two pinion system with two servo motors. The rotary table increment is 0.001° at a table load bearing capacity of 55,000 lbs.


Servo motors on all linear axis feature planetary gearboxes for large thrust capabilities!
